CertMate + Simpro: Now an Official Simpro Partner Integration

What official Simpro partner status actually means, and how the integration finds your job, prefills the certificate, and pushes the finished PDF straight back.

CertMate has completed Simpro's technical and branding review and is now an official Simpro partner. For teams already running jobs through Simpro, that's more than a badge, it's the point where the Simpro integration moves from "we built a connector" to "Simpro has checked this connector meets their own standards." Here's what partner status actually covers, and how the integration itself works.

What official partner status means

Getting to official partner status wasn't a formality. Simpro requires a documented technical review of the integration itself, covering things like how the connection is authorised (CertMate uses Simpro's own secure login screen and OAuth2 flow, so your Simpro username and password are never seen or stored by CertMate) and how the integration behaves for businesses running more than one Simpro company. CertMate passed that review, which is what "official Simpro partner" actually certifies, not just that the two products can talk to each other, but that the way they talk to each other meets Simpro's own bar.

How the Simpro integration works

Connecting Simpro takes under a minute: enter your Simpro build URL in CertMate's Integrations settings, you're sent to Simpro to log in and approve access, then straight back to CertMate, connected. From there, every new certificate gets a "Find a Simpro job" search box: type a job number or customer name, pick the right result, and CertMate prefills the customer name, phone, email and site address straight from Simpro. The certificate links to that job automatically.

Once the certificate is signed off, one click pushes the finished PDF back onto the Simpro job as an attachment, filed exactly where your office already looks for it. Nothing syncs in the background, and your full Simpro customer list is never pulled across, you search for and select the specific job each time, so nothing gets connected that you didn't ask for. Reference numbers stay consistent too: CertMate combines your own job reference prefix with the Simpro job number, so a certificate started from Simpro still fits your existing numbering.

Built for NZ electricians already running Simpro

If your business already runs on Simpro, connecting it doesn't change how you work, it just removes the step of retyping job details you were already looking at in Simpro. The Simpro integration is included on every CertMate Electrical plan at no extra cost, same as Fergus, and you can only run one job management connection at a time, whichever platform your team actually uses.
